Summary of Food Benefits Package Breastfed Infants Once you completed the online class, print your confirmation and present at your WIC clinic. You can attend classes at your WIC clinic or take WIC classes online. Staff nutritionists help WIC participants understand how nutrition impacts the development of a healthy family, including nutrition counseling and education, and food preparation. Participants will receive a combination of these foods depending on their category (pregnant, breastfeeding, postpartum, child, infant). WIC foods are specifically selected for their high nutritional value as well as for their relatively low cost. These foods include: milk, cereals, eggs, peanut butter, cheese, juices, beans, fruits and vegetables, whole grains (brown rice, whole wheat bread, or corn tortillas), tuna or salmon for breastfeeding women, infant formula, infant cereal, infant fruits and vegetables (baby food).
